| Abstract |
Primary decomposition is one of the important chapters in the dimension theory of commutative algebra and algebraic geometry. The computational aspects of commutative algebra has proven to be very useful in modern researches in these areas. I will discuss various algorithms for primary decomposition. In particular, we will discuss the improvement given by Noro and Kawazoe in the existing algorithm of shimoyama and yokoyama.
