Title L-Function in Number Theory
Speaker Ali Raza
Abstract

L-functions are analytic objects that are related to the distribution of prime numbers as well as prime ideals. L-functions are defined for complex values s ∈ C, where s = σ + iv and have numerous interesting algebraic properties. The most well know L-function proposed by Riemann termed as Riemann zeta function ζ(s) originally Leonard Euler first studied it for real values, later as a complex function, by Bernard Riemann. In this talk, I will be discussing about analytic continuation, functional equations and the product representation.
