| Abstract |
We present a nonlinear model of elastic waves using the Murnaghan model. In nonlinear elastic waves, the celebrated Hooke's law does not hold and stress is assumed in terms of a potential. We describe one, two and three dimensional nonlinear waves using the Murnaghan Model. Finally, we present a solution of a one dimensional nonlinear elastic wave using the Adomian Decomposition Method.
