In this talk, the basics of fixed point theory, fixed point iteration methods and their uses for solution of different type of problems will be discussed in detail. The overview of the existing work in the area of solution of different type of Boundary value problems
using fixed point iteration method together with green function will be presented. Finally, the open problems for our future work will be discussed.
