Title Unreasonable Effectiveness of Mathematics in Physics
Speaker Babar Qureshi
Abstract

Wigner raised the question sometime ago that why is Mathematics so effective in describing the physical reality. While it seems obvious that any precise laws ( which physical laws, perhaps, ought to be) have to take a mathematical form but nature often takes very

simple mathematical principles and seems to shape the physical world as a manifestation of those principles and this is where the deep mystery lies. In this inspirational talk, I will emphasize this point using a very simple example.
