| Abstract |
A problem of algorithmic interest is how to embed given Lie algebras of prescribed types into maximal ones of the same type. These algorithms are given in a recent preprint (arxiv:1603.08167). One needs these algorithms to give invariant solutions of differential equations. I will discuss briefly the main tools used in devising such algorithms.
